Scanrivo support

Quick answers for scanning, endpoints, local work, ads, and purchases.

Get started

  1. Create a profile and choose Send, Collect, or Reader.
  2. Enter an HTTPS endpoint that you or your organization control. Add authentication in the dedicated API key or bearer token field if needed.
  3. Scan with the device camera. In Collect mode, choose or create a batch before scanning and submit it when ready.

Scanrivo does not supply an endpoint. Your organization's endpoint must support the request and response format configured in the profile.

Scanning

Camera does not open

Allow camera permission for Scanrivo in Android settings, then reopen the scanner. Check that another app is not holding the camera.

A barcode is not recognized

Use good lighting, hold the code within the camera view, and check that the profile allows that barcode format. You can also enter a barcode manually in the app.

A barcode appears twice

Check the profile's duplicate policy. Separate, increment, and warning behaviors are available for different workflows.

Endpoint and queue

A send failed

Confirm internet access, the HTTPS URL, endpoint availability, authentication, and expected field names. Inspect the scan's status and retry it manually after correcting the issue.

A send is marked uncertain

The app may not know whether the endpoint received a request when a connection was interrupted. Check the destination system before retrying to avoid duplicate work. An idempotent endpoint can make retries safer.

Reader result is missing

Confirm the profile's response paths match the endpoint's JSON response and that the requested barcode exists there. A 404 response is shown as not found.

Ads and purchases

How do I restore Remove ads?

Use Restore purchases in the app's settings while signed in to Google Play with the account that bought the product. Verification needs Play and the Scanrivo billing service to be reachable.

How do I change ad privacy choices?

Open Ad privacy options in the app's settings to revisit available consent choices. Android settings also include advertising ID controls.

Data and privacy

Your working records are kept in local app storage. Exported profile JSON excludes the separately stored API key or bearer token. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local data on that device, so save any work you need first. Previously exported files and records sent to your chosen endpoint are managed separately.

Read the full privacy policy for advertising and purchase verification details.

Contact

Email ceritahmt@gmail.com with the app version, Android version, workflow mode, and a short description of the problem. A screenshot or HTTP status can help. Avoid sending API keys, purchase tokens, or sensitive barcode records in the first message.
